Privacy Policy
What we collect
- On this website: what you type into the demo request form (store name, your name, phone, optional email, what you sell), the onboarding form after purchase (store details, brands, salespeople names, address), and messages you send through the chat widget. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
- At checkout: payment is processed by Stripe through our CRM. We receive your name, email, phone, billing address and the plan you bought. We never see or store full card numbers.
- In the app: each salesperson's login and usage (which product was previewed, when). Room photos uploaded by your team are sent to our AI provider to generate the preview and are not published or sold by us.
How we use it
- To answer your demo request, set up and run your store's account, bill you, and support you.
- To send transactional messages about your account (setup, logins, install day, billing).
- We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that run the service (payment processor, CRM, email delivery, hosting, AI provider) and only for that purpose.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number through the chat widget on this site, at a demo, or when you buy, you agree to receive text messages from SurfaceSwap about your request, your demo, your setup and your account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help, or email support@surfaceswap.com. We do not send marketing texts to people who have not asked to hear from us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it: email support@surfaceswap.com. We answer within 10 business days.
- Opt out of texts with STOP; opt out of emails with the unsubscribe link or by replying.
- Room photos: a store can ask us to delete the photos generated for a customer.
Retention and security
We keep account and billing records for as long as you are a customer and as required by tax law afterwards. Data is stored with US-based providers, encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
